the slower growth rate, there is now a more gradual growth

malocclusion. teeth not alligned properly- incorrect contact between upper and lower teeth when jaw is closed

myopia also called near-signtedness- distant objects are out of focus

10-11 years girls height and weight increases more rapidly

boys do because they have more muscle tissue, is therefore stronger

cognitive level- acquisition of skills like writing become possible
social development- participation in individual or team sports- learn to obey rules and cooperate
