what is the eyepiece lens?
it is where you look into to see your specimen
what are the objective lenses?
they are lenses which allow you to see your specimen at a higher or lower magnification
what is the stage?
the stage is where you place your specimen

when you can move the stage up and down in small movements

the bottom of the microscope
what is the arm?
it is where you hold the microscope

they are to pin down the specimen on the stage
what is the coarse adjustment knob?
when you can move the stage up and down in big movements

the light source is where the light comes out of to make an image of what the specimen actualy looks like
