What are the Generation Two medications?

A
  1. Clozapine (Clozaril)
  2. Olanzepine (Zyprexa)
    • CAN CAUSE WEIGHT GAIN!!!
  3. Quetiapine (Seroquel)
  4. Risperidone (Risperdal)
    - CAN CAUSE EPS UP TO MORE THAN 6 GRAMS
  5. Ziprasidone (Geodon)
    - RARELY CAUSES EPS, CAUSES MYOCARDIAL INFRACTION/HEART FAILURE. DON’T USE WITH QT PROLONGING DRUGS!!
