A
- One observing the fast should be conscious of keeping her/his mind and body clean, by being conscious of eating halal at sehri and iftar and to keep one’s tongue clean by not gossiping nor swearing.

A
- Display of anger, aggression, and violence is forbidden during the month of Ramadan, especially when one is fasting.
- Instead, show patience and forbearance towards others and control one’s temper and tongue.

- More time should be spent in the recitation of the Quran and completing it at least once during the month.
- The prophet said: “Everything has a best season and the best season of the Quran is Ramadan”

What should one do regarding salat during Ramadan + what does Allah state?
A
- One should be punctual when attending the salat and should attend the Tarawih prayers and spend as much time as possible in the remembrance of Allah and seeking forgiveness.
- Allah states: “And when my servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he calls upon Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me That they may walk the right way.”

- In Ramadan, one should strive to be charitable as much as possible, generous, help the needy and poor, participate in social and community welfare projects, etc.

- Ramadan is the month of reflection as one should reflect and plan to improve their moral and spiritual conduct.
- One should think about how he/she can become a better Muslim and convert those thoughts into actions as well as contribute to the Ummah for a better world.
