-when clenced fist strike a hard object
-distal part of fracture is displaced anteriorly
-shortened affected finger
What is Bennet’s fracture?
- Fracture of 1st metacarpal base (thumb)
-Caused by forced hyperabduction of thumb
By abductor pollicis longus
