What is pressure gradient force?

A

The force that results when there is a difference in pressure. As the pressure tried to equalise it moves causing wind. The greater the pressure difference the stronger the wind.

What is Coriolis force?

A

Wind on the surface of the Earth moves forwards but due to the rotation of the Earth it appears to veer. Wind will always turn right in the Northern hemisphere.
