An emotional response originating form fear, anxiety, frustration, threat or challenge.

- Results when when a person feels vulnerable, threatened and losing control.

Hyperactivity, pacing Verbal abuse, loud voice Staring or absence of eye contact Stone cold silence Recent act of violence Alcohol or drug intoxication Possession of weapon or object that could be used as a weapon Increasing tension or anxiety Presence of environmental characteristics that could lead to violence.
