Aborted Engine Start
FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine)…..CUTOFF
IAS DISAGREE or Airspeed Unreliable
- Autopilot disengage switch…..PUSH
- Autothrottle ARM switch……….PUSH
- F/D switches…………………………..OFF
- Set the following gear up pitch attitude and thrust. —-Flaps Extended…..10D and 90% N1—-Flaps Up………………4D and 80% N1
CABIN ALTITUDE or Rapid Depressurization
- Done the oxygen masks
- ## Establish crew communication3.Check the cabin altitude and rate. Verify that the
packs are on and the outflow valves are closed.
4.If the cabin altitude is uncontrollable:
SUPRNMRY OXY switch . . . . . . . . . Push to ON
and hold for 1 second
Without delay, descend to the lowest safe
altitude or 14,000 feet, whichever is higher.
To descend:
Move the thrust levers to idle.
Extend the speedbrakes.
If structural integrity is in doubt, limit
airspeed and avoid high maneuvering
loads.
Descend at Vmo/Mmo.
ENG 1,2,3,4 AUTOSTART
FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine)…..CUTOFF
Engine Limit or Surge Stall
Thrust Lever (affected engine)…CONFIRM…..Retard until engine indications stay within limits or thrust lever is at idle
FIRE ENG 1,2,3,4 or Engine Severe Damage or Seperation
- Thrust Lever (affected engine)…..Confirm…..IDLE
- FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine)…..Confirm…..CUTOFF
- Engine Fire switch (affected engine)…..confirm…..Pull
- If the FIRE ENG message is shown: Engine fire switch (affected engine)…..Rotate to stop and hold for 1 second
- If after 30 seconds, the FIRE ENG message stays shown: Engine fire switch (affected engine)…..Rotate to the other stop and hold for 1 second
FIRE APU
APU fire switch…..Confirm…..Pull, and rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second
Multiple Engine Flameout or Stall
- (Pratts) CONT IGNITION switch . . . . . . . . . . . . .ON
- FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine)…..confirm…..CUTOFF, then run
- IF EGT increases rapidly approaching the EGT takeoff limit: Repeat the above step as needed
