Q

what is the mode

A
  • score that appears most frequently
  • if has multipal scores its bimodal
  • measure: may not reflect the datas overall distribution, dosent provide clear picture if there are any modes

A
  • indicates how spread out your data is

Q

what is standard deviation

A
  • shows how much values deviate from the mean
  • calculated by using all data points
  • low standard devaition means reults were clustered around mean so everyone scored consistently
  • high standard devaition means results were very spread out
