- Work with designer to eliminate H&S risk
- Liaise with principle contractor keeping them informed of risk

- Look after H&S of workers, ensure welfare is provided

Name three ways of managing contractors on site?
- Sign in/out book
- Visitor/Contractor cards
- Contact person appointed
- Regular consultation/communication
- Ensure contractors are aware of H&S rules - smoking, first aid etc
How should we keep check of contractors?
- Should be pre agreed
- Contractors are responsible for supervision and ensuring they work safely
- How much they are checked is based on level of risk
- Encourage them to report accidents and incidents
