  • Accident rate
    High = unsafe practices = negative H&S culture
    Low = safe practices = positive H&S culture
  • Absenteeism/Sickness rate
    High = pressure on workforce = bad relationships = negative H&S Culture
    Low = Happy workers = + H&S Culture
  • Staff turnover
    High = production slows = increased risk due to inexperienced staff = Neg H&S culture
    Low = experienced staff = motivated = + H&S culture
  • Level of H&S Compliance
    High = increase in H&S Culture
    Low = Decrease in H&S culture
  • Complaints
    If resolved = workforce brings about change = Pos
    If ignored = management doesn’t care = Neg
