What are reports?
Reports are management products which record a snapshot in time for the project
What are the purposes of all reports?
End stage report - PM to PB on what has happened at that stage/summary to date
Next stage report - PM to PB to authorise the next stage
Lessons report - Anyone at any time
Checkpoint report - TM to PM at frequency defined in the PID
Highlight report - PM to PB at frequency defined in the PID
Issue report - PM to PB to evaluate issue from the baseline
End project report - PM to PB to assess how it performed against PID
What are the 9 management approaches in the PID?
Change management approach - how to go from one way of working to another
Digital & data management approach - how data will be stored, managed
Commercial management approach - commercial agreements
Communication management approach - plan to communicate updates, end product
Sustainability management approach - any targets listed and how they will be met
Benefits management approach - record of benefits, actions to make them realised
Quality management approach - techniques, roles/res to improve quality
Risk management approach - techniques, roles/res to manage risks
Issue management approach - how issues will be captured and explained against the baseline
What are baseline products?
These are products which form the basis of the PM documentation and when approved, are subject to change control i.e project brief, PID, business case

What are records?
Records are dynamic management products which have information on project particulars and progress. They are collectively known as the ‘project log’.
What are examples of records?
The project log includes:
Daily log - records informal issues, PM diary
Lessons log - records lessons learned to be shared
Risk register - likelihood x magnitude and velocity, risk identifier, assigned, status, actions
Quality register - records quality activities and progress
Issues register
Product register - lists the products required and their status
