What are the treatment options for type 1 hypersensivity

A
  1. Targeted avoidance of allergen
  2. Block mast-cell activation
  • ​Mast-cell stabalisers - sodium chromoglycate
  • Topical spray prophylactically - allergic rhinitis, excersie astham
  1. Prevent mast cell activation
  • H1-receptor antagonist - prophylaxis and symptom
  • Leukotrien antagonist - Montelukast
  1. Corticosteriods

5. immune therapy - but anaphylactic risk
