What are the symtoms of anaphylaxis
A
- flushing
- Pruritus - itcheness
- Urticaria - hives
- Angioneutretic oedema
- Abdominal pain, vomming
- Hypotension - vasodilation and plasma exudation - circulatory failure
- Stridor, wheez, respiratory failure

What is the criteria for diagnosing Anaphylaxis
A
- Acute onset
- Likely exposure to allergen
- Decrease BP after exposure

What is the managment of Anaphylaxis
A
- IM adrenaline
- Iv anti-histamines
- IV- corticosteriods
- High flow oxygen
- Nebulised bronchodilators
- If neccessory endotracheal intubation

A
- Skin prick test -Erythmatous plaque
- Challange test - supervised exposure to putative antigen
- IgE detection in serum - immunoassay
- Tryptase level - serum mast cell
