What is the length of the male urethra?

What are the sections of the male urethra, and what lengths are these?
3.5cm prostatic, 1.5cm membranous, 15cm spongy (bulbous and pendulous)
Where does the male urethra take a 90’ turn?
from the perineal membrane to the bulbe
What is found at the distal end of the male urethra? What does this contain? Lining?
The navicular fossa, containing lacuane and urethral glands, with stratified rather than squamous epithelium.
Where are the narrowest parts of the male urethra?
Narrowest at the bladder neck, membranous part and proximal navicular fossa
Where are the dilations of the male urethra?
In the prostatic part, bulb, and navicular fossa
What is the blood supply of the male urethra?
Multiple sources
What is the nerve supply of the male urethra?
From perineal nerve and iliohypogasric plexus
What does the male urethra develop from?
The lower ends of the mesonephric duct and the urogenital sinus
