-Hypotension
Begins as a benign infection or simple abscess that quickly leads to widesoread necrosis
Fournier’s Gangrene
_Asymptomatic mass
_Mild pain
_Mass is separate from testis
_Feels like “bag of worms”
_Size increases with valsalva
Varicocele
-Gradually enlarging painless cystic mass that transilluminate
-A collection of peritoneal fluid between the parietal and visceral layers around the testes and spermatic cord
Hydrocele
-Painless
-Typically transilluminate as cystic in nature
-Fluid filled cyst at the head of the epididymis that may contain nonviable sperm
Spermatocele
-Painless enlargement of the testis (patients delay seeking medical attention for 3-6 months)
-Solid mass
-Sensations of heaviness
Testicular Cancer
-Acute onset, constant unilateral pain that is unrelieved by elevation
-Negative cremasteric reflex
-High riding testis (Bell clapper) _Profound tenderness and swelling
-Nausea and vomiting
-Twist of the spermatic cord, potentially producing ischemia
-Urgency to diagnose and treat within 6 hours to prevent loss of testis
-Rare in men over 30 years old
Testicular Torsion
_Forskin unable to retract _May have urinary retention
Phimosis
_Constricting band proximal to the glans
-Swollen
-Painful
-Gangrenous
-Urinary retention
