Question 1

כִּ֣י הִנֵּ֤ה הַיּוֹם֙ בָּ֔א בֹּעֵ֖ר כַּתַּנּ֑וּר וְהָי֨וּ כָל־זֵדִ֜ים וְכָל־עֹשֵׂ֤ה רִשְׁעָה֙ קַ֔שׁ וְלִהַ֨ט אֹתָ֜ם הַיּ֣וֹם הַבָּ֗א אָמַר֙ ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־יַֽעֲזֹ֥ב לָהֶ֖ם שֹׁ֥רֶשׁ וְעָנָֽף

Answer 1

Malachi. A fiery day is coming Talking about the day of Judgement. בער - to burn, destroy זדים - evil people קש - straw (evil people will burn like straw) להט - burn intensely יעזב - to be removed ענף - branch. (evil people won’t have root or branch)

Question 2

הִנֵּ֤ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ שֹׁלֵ֣חַ לָכֶ֔ם אֵ֖ת אֵלִיָּ֣ה הַנָּבִ֑יא לִפְנֵ֗י בּ֚וֹא י֣וֹם ה הַגָּד֖וֹל וְהַנּוֹרָֽא: וְהֵשִׁ֤יב לֵֽב־אָבוֹת֙ עַל־בָּנִ֔ים וְלֵ֥ב בָּנִ֖ים עַל־אֲבוֹתָ֑ם פֶּן־אָב֕וֹא וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ חֵֽרֶם

Answer 2

Malachi. Elijah will come preceding the day of YKVK, to effect reconciliation* אליה - Elijah Day of YKVK - probably the day of judgement, but don’t put that on the test. Elijah will turn back the hearts of fathers to sons and sons to fathers. lest God comes and strikes the land with destruction.
