A
- High potential for abuse with no currently accepted medical use in the US
- Heroin, marijuana, LSD, Mescaline, etc

A
- High abuse potential with severe psychological or physcial dependence liability
- certain opioid drugs, preparations containing amphetamines or methamphetamines as a single active ingredient
- CANT BE PHONED OR FAXED IN –> REQUIRES HARD COPY
- morphine, codeine, etc

A
- Less potential for abuse than schedule I or II
- use may lead to low or moderate physical dependence or high psychological dependence
- anabolic steroids
- codeine phosphate + acetaminophen
