What happens when two north poles or two south poles face each other?

What is a magnetic field?
A region of space where a magnetic material feels a force
What are soft magnetic materials?
Materials that are easily magnetised/ demagnetised such as iron, cobalt and nickel.
What is a hard magnetic material?
Materials that aren’t easily magnetised such as steel.
How can we destroy a magnet?
Heat it to a high temperature
Put an AC through it
Hit it hard
What does destroying a magnet do?
Move the domains
What does the magnetic field line show?
Shows the direction of force
What is the neutral/ null point of a magnet?
Where there is no magnetic field
