It is his soliloquy when he is hallucinating and continues to doubt whether he should kill Macbeth.
What does ‘nature seems dead’ show?
It shows how Macbeth feels no compassion as everywhere is dead and it also show the great chain of being and how it is disrupting nature by killing the King.
What changes as Macbeth’s vision goes on?
Everything begins to become covered in blood, representing guilt and ho he is thinking of murder.
What happens right at the end of Act 2 scene 1?
Macbeth goes to kill King Duncan.
What happens in Act 2 Scene 2?
Macbeth returns from killing Duncan but Lady Macbeth is annoyed to see the blood and dagger in his hand, meaning she returns to the chamber.
What did Lady Macbeth say the reason for not killing Duncan herself was?
He resembled her father as he slept.
