* occurs on both sides of the diaphragm

Liver or bone marrow involvement
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
Often presents with lymphadenopathy
most common neoplasm between ages 20 and 40
Less predictable pattern of spread than Hodgkin’s disease
Advanced stage disease is usually a parent
Hodgkin’s disease
- characteristic reed Sternberg cells differentiate from non-Hodgkin’s disease
More common in males average age is 32
Usually presents with cervical adenopathy in spreads in a predictable fashion along lymph node groups
Lab in Diagnostics of lymphoma
CT, x-rays, ultrasound, MRI used to locate and stage the disease
Biopsy and Histo pathological examination confirm diagnosis
Management of lymphoma
Radiation
Chemotherapy
Bone marrow transplantation
