Q

Process of breathing

A

Q

Feedback loop of the control of respiration

A

Increase in arterial carbon dioxide.
Low ph level.
Central chemoreceptors on medulla respond to signal.
Medullary respiratory centers
Respiratory muscles
Increase in ventilation, more carbon dioxide exhaled

Q

What produces surfactant

A

Pleural membrane, allows lungs to stick to ribs
