Full moon:
-The full moon phase begins when 100% of the disk is illuminated. It ends seven days later when almost 50% of the moon is visible.
Third quarter:
-The duration of the last phase is about seven days. It begins when close to 50% of the moon is visible and ends when 2% or less is visible.
