- reluctance to confront the harsh truth
At the mercy of my curtain eyes,
- closing the eyes and rejecting the truth
- overwhelmed by the world
- reprieve
I wink often more often,
- deliberate effort to shut out the world
To draw the curtains
-
To cut and forget the skies.
- evade the truth

- too much grief in his life
Bleeding my blue veins that’s my pen,
- poetry gives voice to the pain and anguish
On the loose sand that shall sip
- his words absorbed by the sand
And the wind shall help cover it,
- not leave a lasting impression
from the needy arteries
- need to express his emotions
- need to regain identity through writing
- writing is his will to live
