It is the surrounding where people, animals and plant live. It is everywhere living things can grow and survive.
What is habitat?
It is the home of plants and animals.
What is a small habitat called?

Where can habitats be?
hot places like desert, cold places like arctic circle, windy places, cool and damp places.
What are minibeasts?
They are small animals
Give examples of minibeasts.
Beetle, spider, snails, ants, butterflies, millipede, centipede, earthworms

In cracks, a pond, on walls, under stones, in the grass, in the sea, on the tree, in the soil
What are nature reserves?
They are places where plants and animals are looked after.
What is hibernation?
Some animals slow down and sleep in the colder winter months like brown bears.
Name the similarities between plants and animals.
- They both feed

Name the differences between plants and animals.
- Animals can move from one place to another. Plants cannot move.
- Animals can grow up to a certain age. Plants have no age limit.
- Animals cannot make their food using sunlight. Plants can make their food using sunlight.
- Animals can talk and share their feelings. Plants cannot talk and share their feelings.
