What is a limiting reactant?
A
A reaction finishes when one of the reactants is used up. The other reactant has nothing left to react with and therefore is in excess.
The limiting reactant is the one that is all used up whilst the reactant left over is described as excess.

To Calculate the Maximum mass:

Tick and Star Method:
The tick represents what you are trying to find.
The star represents the information you have already been given.
You then divided the tick by the star and then multiple by the mass to get the answer.
