When does the AUTO LAND light illuminate?

A

Accompanied by a triple-click, this light flashes when:
- At least one RA indicates below 200 ft, and
- At least one autopilot is engaged in the LAND or FLARE mode, and
- At least one of the following occurs:
—- LOC exceeds 1/4 dot above 15 RA
—- The g/s exceeds 1 dot above 100 RA
—- Loss of LOC signal above 15 RA
—- Loss of g/s above 100 RA
—- Difference between both RA exceeds 15 RA
—- Last autopilot disengages
—- FMGS detects a long flare
—- FMGS detects and untimely flare. This occurs when one RA is union and the time between LAND and FLARE is less than 2 seconds
