Doctoral degree from APA accredited in applied psychology, or from IO program Completion of APA accredited internship 1500 hour SWE Pass EPPP Pass GA Jurisprudence Pass GA oral exam
If you fail the EPPP…
After three fails - take 3 semester hours of coursework or 15 CEUs
After six fails - take 15 semester hours of coursework or 45 CEUs
If you fail the jurisprudence exam…
Have to wait 30 days before you can take it again
Taking oral exam by examination
Can do within two months of SWE
If you fail it, must move to a full board review
If you fail it again, you are denied licensure
Provisional license
Carries all weights and privileges of a full license, you just need to finish up your SWE
24 months…but can get extension if you apply for one (not guaranteed)
If you do not complete your SWE, your license is denied
If your provisional license is denied…
You can appeal within 60 days
If the board requests additional information, you have 30 days to provide it

Supervision requirements for predoctoral interns
Must be licensed to the a supervisor
You can supervise under a provisional license, you just need a supervisor over you of someone who is fully licensed
Time requirements for doctoral training
Three academic years, with two of those being on campus
Completion of internship
Definition of “internship”
Organized, coherent set of training experiences in the specialty or concentration area of the practice of psychology that are characterized by greater depth, breadth, duration, and intensity than practicum training
Is APA/CPA accredited
Time and hours requirements of internship
No less than 11mo, no more than 24mo
2000 hours, at least 500 must be direct care
Supervision requirements for internship
80% must come from licensed psychologists, supervisors must maintain records on each intern
Sites must have two or more interns, and two or more psychologists on staff
Two hours minimum of supervision and two hours of didactics per week
Secondary supervisor
Internship
Has to be licensed by the GA board Have pre-approval of the internship Oversees no more than 20% Three years of practice Oversees no more than three interns without additional board approval
SWE
1500 hours of relevant training for scope of practice, 500 direct contact hours
11mo - 24mo
Supervision of SWE
One hour of supervision for every 30 hours of SWE
