  • Typhus (Rickettsia prowazekki)
  • Louse borne relapsing fever (Borelia recurrentis)
  • The pug louse (Haemotopinus suis) = mechanical vector of swine pox
  • Dog lice - Trichodectes canis can also be an intermediate host for D caninum.
