. £3,886,000 was raised from 1020 separate donations in 2010
. £2,326 was raised from 15 public funds
What is the party’s ideology?
. They promote the idea of liberalism
. Were formed in 1988 when the liberal party merged with the Social Democrats.
. They promise personal liberty, tolerance and a limited government
How do the Lib Dems select candidates?
. Those wishing to be parliamentary candidates must by voted for by the Lib Dem party in England, Scotland and Whales.
How do the Lib Dems make policy’s?
. The party meets twice a year at an annual conference to discuss policy.
What is their location of the political spectrum and why?
. Is predominately located in the centre of the political spectrum but perhaps moved a little towards the left when merged with the Social Democrats.
