. Class dealignment is where members of a social class stop aligning themselves in terms of class and believe that they no longer belong to a certain class. . It occurred mostly in the 1960's due to more people wanting to pursue a tertiary education and have professional jobs. . Has led to a reduction in people voting a certain party due to their class.
