The political party that wins the most ridings forms the Canadian govt. The leader of that party becomes the PM. We do not vote for our PM, we vote for the MP’s from our area. The candidate with the most MP’s forms the govt.
To be a candidate…
• must be 18 years old
• Canadian citizen
• give a $200 deposit

• must be on the voters list (enumerated = proves you are eligible)
