잘 먹겠습니다.
literally means “I am going to eat well” or “I will eat well.” This expression is used frequently among Koreans when they are about to start eating a meal. In the case someone in particular is paying for the meal, the other(s) will say “잘 먹겠습니다” to the person who is paying
잘 먹을게
Informal version of 잘 먹겠습니다.
잘 먹었습니다.
have eaten well./ Thank you for the food.
Once you have finished the meal and you want to thank someone for the meal, or just give thanks for the meal in general.
