Shared values and beliefs of the people in an organisation. (REAL or OFFICIAL)
“personality” or “how we do things around here”
- positive culture mean increased productivity, quality and employee enagagement

* Consistency in style of dress and language within the organisation
* Relations among staff
* Management style
* Budgets
* Rituals and celebrations - what exists indicates what is valued
* “Heroes”. - who do people “look up to” in the organisation (informal power)

-TRAINING: common understanding
-REWARD AND RECOGNITION
-CONSIDERING/ALTERING MANAGEMENT STYLE: consulting/participating vs. autocratic/ persuasive= compliance
