Skills inventories contain comprehensive information about the capabilities of current employees. The data collected may include educational background, previous work history, skills, abilities and interests
What is Management Inventories?
Will include all of the above additional info, such as the number and types of employees supervised, duties of those employees, budgets managed, and responsibilities

What are the two different types of newspapers advertisements?
Want Ads: will list the job, its specifications, and the name of the hiring employer.
Bind ads: Will include the job and its specifications, but will not list the name of the hiring employer.

What are the two main search firms:
Retained- means the recruiter charges an upfront fee to the client to conduct a search, and the search firm has exclusivity on the search assignment until it is filled.
Contingency- Means the recruiter is paid a fee only after have presented the best candidate who is hired
What are search firms generally used to search for?
Top executives, such as a Chief executive officer(CEO), Chief financial officer (CFO), and chief operational officer (COO). The usual fee charged by a search firm may be 30% of the first years salary of the executive that is hired
