You want = to mikhaai
She/he wants = oo(on) mikhaad = the irregular form
We want = maa mikhaaim
You want = shomaa mikhaaid(in)
They want = oonaa mikhaaanad(an)

Structure =
I want something = I + something + want
Subject + khaastan + (BE+stem+ endings) = conjugate
(BE+Stem = exactly as imperatives, just have to add endings)
+ In farsi = would like = to want
E.g.
I want some bread
She wants food
I’d like a pizza
We want freedom

She wants a son = (oon) ye pesar daare
(in imperative for the verb be and have, they are exceptions)
She wants to have a daughter = (oon) mikhaad ye dokhtar daashte baashe
(daashte baash = always fixed + ending)
