I see a horse in the village.
āśrame ‘śvaś carati
A horse is walking to the hermitage.
mārge ‘haṃ carāmi
I am walking on the road.
mārga eṇaṃ paśyāmi
I see a deer on the road.
grāma āhāram anvicchāmi
I look for food in the village.
aśrama upadiśāmi
I teach in the ashram.
grāma īśvaras tiṣṭhati
The lord is standing in the village.
prāsāda idānīm tiṣṭhati
The palace (nom.) now stands. / He is now standing in the palace (loc.).
mārga āgacchati
He comes on the road.
dāsa āgacchati
The servant is coming.
grāma uṣṭreṇa vahati
He rides a camel to the village.
nara uṣṭreṇa vahati
The man rides a camel.
rāma tatra sītā
Rāma, there is Sītā.
śiṣya kutrācāryaḥ
Pupil, where is the teacher?
sūta mṛgaṃ paśyāmi
Charioteer, I see a deer.
nṛpa kuto mṛgam anudhāvasi
King, why are you chasing the deer?
rāma iha sītā
Rāma, here is Sītā. (voc. in its own sandhi group)
dāsa uṣṭro na pibati
Servant, the camel is not drinking. (voc. in its own sandhi group)
nṛpa ahaṃ namāmi
King, I bow. (voc. in its own sandhi group)
śiṣya ācāryo likhati

he rāma tatra sītā
O Rāma, there is Sītā!
