If you propose to carry out works on a wall or structure then you need to issued a ‘PARTY WALL NOTICE’. you then revieve consent in the form of a part wall agreement

Section 1 (applies where it is proposed to erect a new wall at a boundary

Section 2 ( Concerns existing structures)

Section 6 ( applies to excavations up to 6 m away form neighboring lands.
