Radio Failure Procedure in VMC

A

VMC in the circuit by day:
Descend to 500 feet AGL or lower in circuit pattern and make 360 turn abeam the tower and between the tower and downwing leg. Wait for steady green light before landing.

VMC in the circuit by night:
Follow the normal circuit pattern, descend to 500 feet AGL or lower in circuit pattern and make 360 turn abeam the tower and between the tower and downwing leg. Wait for steady green light before landing.

VMC outside the Jerez circuit:
Aircraft with communications failure will enter the CTR from points E or W observing the runway in use in accordance with the facilities available (ATIS, traffic in sight etc.) They will proceed to the position of downwing abeam the tower without crossing the runway where they will make 360 turns in front of the tower and between it and the tailwind section, at a height of 500 feet AGL or lower, expecting to receive visual signals from the tower. They may also establish contact with the tower by mobile telephone, dialling +34 956 150 119. This telephone number has a voice recording, and is strictly to be used by aircraft with communications failure.

Radio Failure Procedure in IMC

A

Proceed as current Flight Plan to the appropriate designated navigational aid serving the aerodrome of intended landing, and when required to ensure compliance with.
Hold over this aid until commencement of descent.
Commence descent from the navigational aid specified above at, or as close as possible to, the
expected approach time last received and acknowledged; or, if no expected approach time has
been received and acknowledged, at, or as close as possible to, the estimated time of arrival as indicated in the filed Flight Plan and revised in accordance with current Flight Plan.
Complete instrument approach procedure for designate navigational aid.
Land, if possible within 30 minutes after ETA specified above or at last acknowledged EAT, whichever is later.
