Define DEVELOPMENT FOOTPRINT
Total land area of a project site covered by buildings and concrete or other impervious surfaces such as roads, parking, or sidewalks.
Define PREVIOUSLY DEVELOPED
Land that has been altered by humans that typically requires regulatory permits
Define INFILL SITE
Site where 75% of the land within the property boundary has previously been developed, exclusive of right of ways
Define BROWNFIELD SITE
Previously developed and potentially contaminated site
Define PHASE 2 ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
Identifies problems and possibly remediation required for brownfield sites.
Define INTEGRATIVE PROCESS
An iterative, collaborative approach that involves a project’s stakeholders in the process from the visioning through completion of the construction and throughout building operation.
Define LOW IMPACT DEVELOPMENT or GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
Approach to managing rainwater runoff that emphasizes on-site natural features to protect water quality by replicating the natural hydrology of infiltration

Measured precipitation depth accumulated over a 24 hour period for the period of record that ranks as the 95th percentile rainfall depth based on the range of all daily event occurrences during this period.
