Lecture 6 IS Transformation Framework Flashcards
Why are goals and realities in transformation often divergent?
First, it is hard to measure the usefulness of digitalization using only economical factors. Goals are defined with economical indicators. Also, it takes a long time to realize what the project called for in the first place.
Explain the DTO Process
There are three general stages: Pre-, Implementation, and Post-. Between the first two stages, Conversion takes place by the delivery organisation. Between the second and final stage, Use takes place by the Host Organisation. Finally, the Competitive stage takes place for the rest of the time the transformation is effective.
