stair initiated creeping, dances, rides on toys, walking, squatting
What fine motor themes are present in toddler 12-18?
appears ambidextrous, spontaneous scribbling dots- vertical lines- horizontal lines
What language skills does 12-18 month toddler have?
imitates and follows 1 step commands, has around 30 words
What type of play skill develops at 12-18 months?
plays alone and develops early ball skills, has stranger shyness
How many months after walking does toddler begin to “run”?
6-12 months after
What gross motor skills does 2-3 y/o have?
can hop and kick ball
jumping, true run and catches soft object via entrapment
What fine motor skills does a 2-3 y/o have?
complex 2 handed skills
can do puzzles, matches shapes, turns thin pages, snips with scissors
