what are the 4 Vs of big data?
volume: computing capacity
velocity: speed at which data is created + analysed
variety: types of data sources available
veracity: accuracy/credibility
what are the extra 3 vs of big data?
variablity: internal consistency of data
value: costs required to undertake big data should pay dividends for organisation + patients
visualisation: use of novel techniques to communicate patterns that would otherwise be lost
what is the b4 school check?
identifies and addresses any health, behavioural, social, development concerns (like poor oral health + hearing problems)
intended to be universal, is a moh indicator to track progress in upr
compare inequities bt most/least deprived groups (bt pacific/nz european children) to determine whether nz had improved acess to primary health for pacific children.
sdg 3.8 = good health and wellbeing.
