Constantly overestimating threats
What is a Specific Phobia?
Marked fear/anxiety caused by presence or anticipation of a specific object or situation
What is Panic Disorder?
Recurrent unexpected panic attacks and concern about having further panic attacks OR changes behaviour significantly related to the attacks
Goal of treating Panic
Reduce sense of threat associated with physical symptoms
Means of treating Panic (3)
1) psychoeducation
2) Interoceptive exposure
3) cognitive restructuring

What is Social Anxiety Disorder?
Fear social situation where they might be scrutinised
