Q

Why would someone lose weight quickly on a low-carb diet?

A

Extra glucose can be stored with the liver and muscles, but I can also be converted into fat. Therefore, consuming a low-carb diet would force the body to burn stored body fat in order to provide the body with energy. This leads to weight loss.
