What is Asexual reproduction?

A

When one parent cell divides into two genetically identical daughter cells.

How does Asexual reproduction occur?

A

The cells origin of replication duplicates through DNA replication and move to opposite sides of the cell. The cell then splits into two genetically identical daughter cells.
