Condition of arrested or incomplete development of the mind, which is esp characterised by impairment of skills manifested during the developmental period, which contribute to the overall level of intelligence

Genetic- single gene, microdeletion/duplication, chromosomal abnormality
Infection- antenatal rubella, meningitis
Toxic- foetal alcohol syndrome
Head injury

What are the criteria for diagnosis of learning disability?
A
Onset <18yo IQ <70 Social or adaptive dysfunction in 2 or more of the following: -communication -self care -home living -social skills -community use -self direction -health and safety -functional academics -leisure and work
