Patients go here for care that a GP cannot provide - operations are carried out, emergency departments
patients are referred here to specialities by their GP
Specialist doctors can recommend treatment/ medications/ operations that may help
what’s the purpose of healthcare at home?
For housebound people, or people recovering from something such as an operation. This usually through choice of preference to be at home - can even be nursed at home when dying.
Care can be provided for home births by community based nursing and midwifery staff

patients go here to be treated for specific conditions after being referred by their GP
clinics consist of trained people such as doctors and nurses
