What is the affordable care act? (Obama care)

HIPPA
Health insurance portability and accountability act. A 1996 federal law that restricts access to individuals private medical information.
What is the HITECH act?
Health information technology of economic and clinical health act is a part of the American recovery and reinvestment act of 2009 that incentivized the meaningful use of EHR’s and strengthened the privacy and security provisions of HIPPA.
OSHA
Authorized enforcement of the standards developed to encourage the states in the effort to ensure safe and healthful working conditions by providing for research, information, education, and training in the field of occupational safety and health.
