Direct contact, indirect contact and airborne.
Common pathogens
Virus, bacteria, fungi, Protozoa and parasites
What is the chain of infection?
Pathogen, reservoir, portal of exit, mode of transmission, portal of entry, susceptible host.
What is a low level disinfectant?
Hydrogen peroxide (used on exam tables and countertops)
What is an intermediate level disinfectant?
Isopropyl alcohol (used on stethoscope/bp cuffs)
What is a high level disinfectant?
Codex OPA (used on instruments that touch mucous membranes)

Where you find information on the product such as first aid, composition, hazards, firefighting measures, accidental release measures, handling storage, exposure control, physical/personal protection, stability and reactivity, toxicology information.
